Scarlett Johansson - American Actress and singer (born in New York City on 22 November 1984) Her range of talents as an actress has brought her much acclaim for her work in dramas from the past, to thrillers and adventures. Johansson was the child of a filmmaker as well as an architect. The family is from New York City. Hunter, the twin sister of Johansson was also born in New York City. At the age of seven year old, she started casting for commercials on television. Her interest in acting grew quickly, and she was immediately to the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute. When she was eight years old, Johansson appeared alongside Ethan Hawke as Sophistry in an Off-Broadway show. At the age of nine she made her acting debut in Rob Reiner's North (1994). Johansson played the lead role on screen in Just Cause (1995), prior to her breakthrough in the film Manny & Lo - a tale about two sisters who are orphans that escape. The film received critical acclaim for her role as a teenager who has suffered a disfiguring accident in The Horse Whisperer (1998) and gained more attention as cynical teen who is a solitary Rebecca on the set of Ghost World (2001). Award-winning actress was one of the most important characters on the show. Besides appearing on the series she is also an accomplished stage actress. She is known for her outstanding performances in such plays as Wildflower. Renee Felice Smith started her career in entertainment at a young age. As a child, Smith became interested with acting. With the support from her parents, Smith got her first acting job at the age of six. It was an Dannon yogurt commercial. Like many young actresses she began her professional career in the theatre. She would work in different USA projects while performing on stage with Wildflower. She was a graduate of the Stonestreet Studios Conservatory of the New York University Tisch School of the Arts.
